Originating from sunny Bournemouth town and loving every second of dj life down on the UK South Coast is XJ. A passionate and meticulous dj whose pin point precision mixing, together with sensational tune selection has his crowds up and glued to the dance floor. XJ applies his sharp and seamless style predominantly to Drum & Bass, House, Trance and Hard Dance, but also enjoys the challenge of dabbling in other genres. XJ has had music running through his veins since birth and began getting more closely involved with music at the age of 13 when he picked up the mic and tried his hand at being an mc. After a few years on the mic XJ had the urge to mix and started messing around on a few of his friends decks. He then became a family man at an early age so XJ took some time out from the music scene and in 2005, he finally acquired his own setup. After a couple of years playing his vinyl at every chance he could get, XJ was ready to play out in his home town. He got involved with some local events and played at several Bournemouth hot spots including The Old Fire Station, Empire, Dusk till Dawn and DNA. When XJ attended university in 2010 he met a few like-minded dance music enthusiasts and together they launched their first drum and bass event Fracture in Bournemouth at the club Dusk Till Dawn. After the success of this event XJ’s passion and drive grew and the rest is history. His monthly residency at SoHo has become a regular hot spot for the local, house hungry bar hoppers. In 2017 XJ toured around Ibiza for his debut on the clubbing island, supporting the Parasol Ibiza Tour in association with Darkest Before Dawn Records. In 2018 he took his skills and sound to Ayia Napa as a resident DJ for Ayia Napa House Party hosted by House Party Events, along with house legend Junior Jack and 48 other national and international djs. In 2019 XJ returned to Ayia Napa with House Party Events alongside his fellow residents and up and coming djs Craig Knight, Franky Wah and Hot like Detroit. Next up in June 2019 will be XJs first festival slot, Home Farm Fest in Somerset, followed by his next summer booking at the largest festival in Wales: Logic Festival. The next step for XJ is production so watch this space! I have made my living as a DJ since I was 19 years old. I have always embraced what is new and makes people happy. I rejected the commercial sounds long ago and moved into the underground at a young age, however, I am never to proud to not spin a good pop classic from time to time. I stated on turntables and have never stopped embracing new technology for making and playing sound. I currently use Traktor and still incorporate vinyl into my mixes.

A Dj from the South of England SYKES has many years of experience behind the decks. Started listening to proper 'dance music' back in the late 80's early 90's whilst attending numerous parties, raves and moving on to clubs. This is when my love of playing the music I was listening to kicked off. Starting as a bedroom Dj as most did back in the early 90's I bought my first pair of 1200's and it kicked off from there playing at parties and the odd rave or 2! It slowed from there a little on the playing out front although my love of 'good' music never left me. 90's came and went in a blur until I helped promote a night at a club on the south coast... And on the back of that got a residency there. This kick started a new found love of playing house music ( and other genres) to the masses! That feeling is THE best and it never leaves you.

Ross Jackson is an experienced house and techno DJ who has played in some of Edinburgh’s top clubs such as The Liquid Room, City Nightclub and Cabaret Voltaire. He plays a wide range of styles across the house music spectrum but is best known for his driving tech house sound. Ross is currently resident at Subterranean who run nights in the Perth and Tayside area. He has also played a number of guest slots for various clubbing brands across Scotland and has supported the likes of Dave Angel and Judge Jules. Ross recently launched his own underground house and techno night Element at the Mash House in Edinburgh.
